On 29 March 2022, H.E Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah paid a courtesy call on the Honourable Datin Seri Setia Dr Romaizah Mohd Salleh, Minister of Education Brunei at her office. Also present during the meeting were Dr. Haji Azman Ahmad, Permanent Secretary (Higher Education) and officers from the International Relations Division of the Ministry.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on various matters related to the education cooperation between Malaysia and Brunei. They also agreed to forge closer working relations between the High Commission of Malaysia and the Ministry of Education in exploring new potential collaboration apart from further enhancing the existing cooperation.
YB Datin Seri Setia Dr Romaizah Mohd Salleh was appointed Minister of Education following the cabinet reshuffle on 7 June 2022. She made history by becoming the first female minister in Brunei’s Cabinet.
