On 30 March 2023, H.E Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah paid a courtesy call on Honourable Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs of Brunei at the latter’s office. Also present during the call was Mr Salminan bin Haji Burut, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA).
After the exchange of pleasantries, both discussed matters focusing around existing and potential areas of cooperation between Malaysia and Brunei including subjects related to the departments of immigration, prisons, as well as fire and rescue. H.E Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah also reaffirmed the High Commission of Malaysia’s commitment to working closely with MOHA under the leadership of the Minister.
Honourable Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman was appointed Minister of Home Affairs during the cabinet reshuffle on 7 June 2022.
