Photo shows Tun Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, at the lobby of the Empire Hotel & Country Club, shortly before his departure to Malaysia yesterday. According to sources, the former Malaysian prime minister spent two hours at Tamu Kianggeh, where he mingled with the locals and purchased some made-in-Brunei products. He was accompanied by his spouse, Tun Jeanne Abdullah. Tun Abdullah was recently conferred the Darjah Kerabat Laila Utama Yang Amat Dihormati (D.K) or (Most Esteemed Family Order) Medal by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on the occasion of the monarch's 64th birthday celebration.
