Khatam al-Quran ceremony at Malaysian High Commission

Bandar Seri Begawan - Persatuan Wanita Kementerian Luar Negeri (PERWAKILAN) recently organised a Khatam al-Quran ceremony at the Malaysian High Commission.
The event was also supported by Persatuan Kebajikan Melayu Se-Malaysia. Present at the event was the chairperson of PERWAKILAN, Datin Zakiah Dato' Haji Alias.
The Khatam al-Quran was led by Dato' Ku Jaafar Ku Shaari, the Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam.
The mass Maghrib and sunat prayers were led by Ustaz Abd Kadir Mohammad while the mass Isyak prayer was led by Ustaz Haji Abd Rahman bin Yunus. Ustaz Haji Ismail Mohd Arif meanwhile led the congregation in the terawikh prayers.
Ustaz Dr Haji Md Zain Haji Mahmood from Universiti Islam Sharif Ali then delivered a religious talk.
The religious event was also attended by UBD students from Bosnia' and Cambodia.
