On 27 November 2022, H.E Raja Dato' Reza attended a dinner in conjunction with the launching of the Management and Science University (MSU) Alumni Brunei Chapter at Empire Hotel, Jerudong. The Guest of Honour was Honourable Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of Brunei. Also in attendance were Professor Tan Sri Dato' Wira Dr Mohd Shukri, President of MSU, Mr Abdul Walid Haji Matassan, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Dr Haji Norarfan Zainal, Rector of University Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA).
With the official launching of this Alumni Brunei Chapter, MSU will conduct various activities in the country led by its alumni members, mainly to promote the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For its pilot project, the university has adopted one village in Brunei, whereby its alumni members have undertaken various community engagement activities, including cleaning and beautifying the landscape around a recreational park in the village.
