On 30 November 2022, H.E Raja Dato' Reza held a discussion with Dr. Hazri bin Haji Kifle, Vice Chancellor of Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) at the latter's office. The Vice Chancellor was accompanied by Dr Joyce Teo Siew Yean, Assistant Vice Chancellor (Global Affairs).
Both sides deliberated and exchanged views on ongoing and potential cooperation between UBD and higher education institutions in Malaysia, including the participation of two Malaysian public universities in the upcoming Borneo Studies Network (BSN) Scientific Committee Meeting and Borneo Studies Network Governing Council Meeting hosted by UBD. The Vice Chancellor also welcomed future collaboration between the High Commission of Malaysia and UBD in organising student activities in various areas such as cultural promotion, academic, community engagement etc.
