On 25 May 2024, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam hosted a Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas. The event was graced by the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The High Commission of Malaysia in Bandar Seri Begawan was delighted to join other Diplomatic missions in Brunei in showcasing our local dishes at the event. This year, we took the opportunity to staff a booth serving traditional Malaysian cuisines such as Laksa Johor, Kuih Kuasi and Kuih Seri Muka.
The Malaysian High Commission remains supportive towards the organising of cultural festivities which is a powerful vehicle of cultural diplomacy in supporting mutual understanding and appreciation for cultural diversity of the world.
