On 18 August 2023, the High Commission of Malaysia in Bandar Seri Begawan organised a Nasi Lemak Hiking programme with the alumni of Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) from Brunei Darussalam at Tasek Lama. Apart from advocating healthy lifestyle, the programme also promotes Malaysian gastronomy to the Bruneians in particular, Malaysia’s very own Nasi Lemak and Teh Tarik.
The programme provides the avenue for the High Commission to interact with MTCP alumni in an informal setting and discuss potential collaboration for forthcoming events. The programme is part of the High Commission’s continuous efforts to reach out to MTCP alumni from Brunei Darussalam.
