On 25 August 2023, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam, H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah was invited as Guest of Honour at the launching ceremony of the all-new Proton X90 in Bandar Seri Begawan.
The slogan ‘Intelligence that Empowers’ encapsulates the identity of Proton X90, and the D-segment SUV is envisaged to bring the Malaysian national car up the notch. Proton currently stood as the 5th bestselling automaker in Brunei.
H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza was delighted over the unveiling of the highly anticipated Proton X90 and reiterated the High Commission’s full support in promoting the expansion of Malaysian automotive brand in Brunei Darussalam.
Proton X90 was first launched in Malaysia on 7 May 2023 by Honourable Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Malaysian Prime Minister to coincide with the 40th anniversary of Proton.
