On 26 August 2023, H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah and spouse attended a reception hosted by diplomatic corps in conjunction with the 77th Birthday of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien. The reception took place at the Royal Brunei Polo and Riding Club Jerudong.
Accompanying His Majesty were Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam, HRH Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and spouse, HRH Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, as well as HRH Princess Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and spouse, YAM Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz.
During the reception, on behalf of the diplomatic corps, H.E. Jassim Ali Abdullah Al Obaidli, the Qatari Ambassador presented to His Majesty Sultan of Brunei a silver-plated sword, specially engraved with hand that took 120 hours of work by Qatari master craftsmen.
