On 5 August 2025, High Commissioner of Malaysia HE Datuk Mohd Aini Atan attended the signing ceremony of Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota (DPMM) FC players and sponsors for the upcoming Malaysia Super League (MSL) 2025/2026 season, held at the Rizqun International Hotel.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and Chairman of DPMM FC.
During the event, 26 players and 12 sponsors inked official agreements with DPMM FC for the 2025/2026 MSL season. The club is set to play its first match of the season on 9 August 2025 against PDRM.
HE Datuk Mohd Aini extended the High Commission of Malaysia’s full support for DPMM FC’s participation in the MSL, expressing confidence that the shared passion for football would transcend borders and further strengthen the bonds between the people of Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam.
