On 1 February 2024, H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza bin Raja Zaib Shah, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam attended the Sovereign’s Parade ceremony held at the Parade Square, Defence Academy of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
HM Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzadin Waddaulah ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam graced the ceremony for the 22nd intake of the Officer Cadet School (OCS).
The event saw 54 officer cadets being commissioned. There were also two international officer cadets, one each from the Malaysian Armed Forces and Singapore Armed Forces.
At the ceremony, HM Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam inspected the cadets, delivered a ‘titah’, presented awards to the best cadet officers and consented to a ‘Junjung Ziarah’.
