On 14 April 2026, the High Commissioner of Malaysia, HE Datuk Mohd Aini Atan, officiated the launch of a strategic collaborative programme between Kolej International Graduate Studies (KIGS), MAHSA University, and MAHSA Avenue International College (MAIC), as well as the KIGS 20th VIBE Exhibition, as the Guest of Honour. The ceremony took place at KIGS, Kiulap.
The launch marked the official commencement of a strategic collaboration between KIGS, MAHSA University, and MAIC, which offer a range of academic programmes including degree and diploma courses in business and information technology.
HE Datuk Mohd Aini expressed the High Commission of Malaysia’s full support for the initiative, acknowledging that it serves as an effective platform to promote Malaysian higher education institutions abroad. The High Commissioner also highlighted that the collaboration reflects the strong confidence of Bruneian students and stakeholders in the quality and standards of Malaysian higher education.
Following the launch ceremony, HE Datuk Mohd Aini was given a guided tour of the VIBE Exhibition, which featured creative works by KIGS’ students. The exhibition served as a culmination of the students’ academic journey, showcasing their skills, innovation, and achievements throughout their educational experience.
