On 29 May 2025, the High Commissioner of Malaysia HE Datuk Mohd Aini Atan together with the CEO of Royal Brunei Airlines Captain Sabirin Haji Abdul Hamid officiated the launch of “Hello Kawan” Visit Malaysia campaign at RB Campus.
The campaign, which runs from 1 June to 31 August 2025, put the spotlight on three of Malaysia’s most captivating cities, Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, and Kota Kinabalu while offering a taste of Malaysia’s vibrant lifestyle, diverse experiences and world-class hospitality.
HE Datuk Mohd Aini highlighted that the “Hello Kawan” campaign is not all about travel deals, it also symbolises the enduring friendship between Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam, a bond built on shared culture, deep ties, and mutual respect.
In 2024, Malaysia welcomed over 1.7 million visitors from Brunei, and through this campaign, HE Datuk Mohd Aini expressed confidence that Malaysia will continue to be among the top travel destinations for Bruneians.
