H.E Dato’ Raja Reza on 8 February 2022 undertook a visit to Goldmyne Hardware Sdn. Bhd at the Walk, Beribi. On arrival, H.E Dato’ Raja Reza and officials of the High Commission of Malaysia were welcomed by the company’s Managing Director, Dato’ Sri Lau Kung Ching, a prominent Malaysian businessman in Brunei.
Dato’ Sri Lau Kung Ching gave a short briefing on the company’s background, progress and a new online business venture. Later H.E Dato’ Raja Reza took a short tour at the company’s subsidiaries in the Walk’s building namely, Goodhome, Babakimbo, Black Whale, Speedhome and Golden Village Cafe.
Goldmyne Hardware Sdn Bhd was established in 1991 as a hardware and roofing materials supplier. In the early ‘90s, Goldmyne Hardware directed its speciality in roofing and dedicated its resources to the development and supply of ‘Made in Brunei’ products, hardware and other imported building material products. It has since then penetrated the Bruneian construction industry with innovative products, providing the commitment to satisfy the market with roofing of the highest standards, thus becoming a favourite amongst architects, builders and contractors alike. The company currently has more than 500 employees.
