The first edition of the Yes2Malaysia Education Expo 2026 was held on 23 and 24 January 2026 at the Mulia Hotel, Bandar Seri Begawan. The expo, organised by Rexpocentral with the support of the High Commission of Malaysia, stands as a one of Malaysia’s education diplomacy initiatives aimed at strengthening education ties between Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam.
This year’s first edition featured 22 Malaysian public and private higher education institutions, showcasing Malaysia’s diverse, high-quality and globally competitive education ecosystem. The expo attracted nearly 3,000 registered interests from prospective students and parents, reflecting the strong interest among Bruneians in pursuing tertiary education in Malaysia.
The High Commissioner of Malaysia HE Datuk Mohd Aini Atan, reaffirmed the High Commission’s full support for the initiative, underscoring Malaysia’s commitment to deepening educational cooperation and nurturing future generations of both countries.
The High Commission of Malaysia remains steadfast in supporting the Yes2Malaysia Education Expo as a premier physical platform that positions Malaysia as the preferred destination for Bruneian aspiring students, while reinforcing education as a one of the key pillars of Malaysia – Brunei longstanding bilateral relations.
