The Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., attended the 291st ASEAN Committee in Ottawa (ACO) Heads of Mission Meeting, chaired by the Ambassador of Thailand, H.E. Kallayana Vipattipumiprates. This meeting marked the conclusion of Thailand’s six-month chairmanship of the ACO. The chairmanship will now be assumed by the Ambassador of Vietnam, H.E. Pham Vinh Quang, for the next term.
Following the meeting, the ACO Heads of Mission attended a working lunch with the Ambassador of China, H.E. Wang Di. The occasion also served as a farewell for Ambassador of Myanmar, H.E. U Hau Khan Sum.
