On 22 March 2024, CDA a.i. joined the Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa (ACO), HE Ambassador Hau Khan Sum of Myanmar and other ASEAN Heads of Mission at a working dinner with the High Commissioner of India to Canada, HE Sanjay Kumar Verma.
The Committee discussed and exchanged views with H.E. Sanjay on several issues of interest including political and economic development in Canada, ASEAN-India relationship, India-Canada bilateral relations and updates on Team Canada Trade Mission (TCTM) to Malaysia and Vietnam.
