Today, the High Commission hosted a warm and heartfelt farewell to bid goodbye to our Second Secretary, Mr Azhar Hassan, as he prepares to return to Malaysia after ending his three-and-a-half year tour of duty in Ottawa. We were fortunate to be able to welcome his successor, Mr Muhamad Rahmat Mohtar, to the Ottawa team.
The High Commission expresses its sincere appreciation to Mr Azhar for his tireless dedication and commitment to keeping our office running smoothly, especially in administration, finance, and consular matters. His broad knowledge and experience has been a true asset to us.
Thank you, Mr Azhar and family, for everything you have contributed during your time here. We wish you all the very best in the next chapter of your journey.
