On 17 March 2012, the High Commission held an engagement session with the Malaysian final year students studying in Ottawa’s University of Ottawa and Carleton University. Some 23 students attended the dialogue session held at Rumah Malaysia, the residence of the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Canada. The students were briefed on the opportunities available to them under the Government’s Talent Corp programme by High Commissioner of Malaysia to Canada, Her Excellency Dato’ Hayati Ismail and Deputy High Commissioner Mr. Umardin Mutalib. A similar programme will be held in Toronto for final year Malaysian students at the University of Toronto and McMaster University on 28 and 29 March 2012.
