HIGH COMMISSION OF MALAYSIA IN OTTAWA HOSTS MALAYSIANS TO YEAR END EVENT

Some 230 Malaysians which included the HBS and their families were present at the event which was held at Ashbury College in Ottawa. The food was prepared by MW Ottawa’s Home Based Staff as well as the Locally Recruited Staff. As the event coincided with the Maal Hijrah, Christmas as well the New Year – all these events brought greater significance to the gathering.

   The Ambassador of the Philippines, the High Commissioner of Bangladesh; as well as the Charge d’Affairs of Indonesia and Myanmar were also in attendance. The gathering also included a poco-poco session which saw the active participation of those present.
