In the lead-up to the 42nd Session of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) General Assembly later this month, the High Commission of Malaysia, in collaboration with the Permanent Representation of Malaysia to the ICAO Council, hosted a diplomatic reception at the Canadian Museum of History.
During the event, Mr Nurulhakeem Hasim formally presented Malaysia’s candidacy for election to the ICAO Council for the 2025–2028 term. In his remarks, he outlined Malaysia’s strategic vision for global aviation and highlighted the country’s longstanding contributions to the safety, security, and sustainability of international civil aviation.
Malaysia remains steadfast in its commitment to the ICAO Council and stands ready to serve with purpose.
