On 15 March 2023, the High Commission hosted a group of students from the University of Ottawa (uOttawa) who will be participating in the “Far East and South Asia Human Rights Summit” which will be held in May 2023 in Montreal. The visit was for the uOttawa team’s preparation for competing in an annual simulation game. The uOttawa team will represent Malaysia at the simulation game.
Mr Mohammad Al Hafiz Mohd Nadzir, Counsellor of the High Commission of Malaysia, exchanged views and shared information on various topics including Malaysia’s foreign policy, human rights, bilateral relations with Canada, ASEAN as well as Malaysia’s roles in the multilateral fora.
