On 30 January 2024, CDA a.i. initiated a VC meeting with Mr. Stéphane G. Henry, Deputy Director, Privileges, Immunities and Accreditation Diplomatic Corps Services, Office of Protocol, Global Affairs Canada (GAC) to discuss the reopening of the Trade Section in Toronto. Trade Commissioner Ms. Nyaee Ayup and GAC Protocol Ms. Kata Szabo were also in the meeting.
