VISA LIBERALISATION PLAN
Visa Liberalisation Plan aims to attract foreign tourists and generate national income. This will ensure Malaysia remains a leader in key industries investment and tourism in the Asian region.
Efforts to improve existing immigration facilities will be implemented starting on 1 December 2023. This initiative is a big shift that introduces five initiatives namely:-
1. Visa Exemption To Citizens Of China & India
2. Multiple Entry Visa (MEV) Facility
3. Graduate Pass
4. Umrah Transit Visa
5. Improvement On The Validity And Eligibility Period Of Visas And Social Visit Pass
Effective 1 December 2023, the Immigration Department of Malaysia will require foreign nationals to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) prior to their arrival in Malaysia. Please click this link for MDAC application: https://imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/main
