22nd ASEAN-WIPO Annual Consultations, 27 September 2017
The 22nd ASEAN-WIPO Annual Consultations was hosted by the WIPO Director General, Dr. Francis Gurry, at the Beau-Rivage, Geneva on 27 September 2017. This annual event, also known as the ASEAN-WIPO Breakfast Meeting was attended by all ten ASEAN Permanent Representatives in Geneva.
Usually held ahead of the WIPO Assemblies, this consultation offered a platform for the ASEAN PRs to exchange views on the IP developments in the region including progress of activities under the ASEAN IP Strategic Action Plan 2016-2025 and normative agenda of the different WIPO Committees.
