PR Geneva, Dato’ Amran Mohamed Zin, met with former UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Education, Dr. Kishor Singh at the Permanent Mission on 9 August 2017.
Dr. Singh commended Malaysia for being one of the first countries in the world to undertake efforts to promote life-long learning the country through the strategies of its “Blueprint on Enculturation of Lifelong Learning for Malaysia 2011-2020”.
Dato' Amran and Dr. Singh also discussed the fulfillment of the right to education in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
