Engagement Session with the Institute of Political Science, University of Tübingen, Germany, 15 February 2022
The Permanent Mission of Malaysia to the United Nations Office and Other International Organisations in Geneva hosted a student delegation from the Institute of Political Science, University of Tübingen, Germany on 15 February 2022.
The delegation is scheduled to participate and represent Malaysia in the National Model United Nations (UN Model) simulation in New York in April 2023. In preparation for the UN Model simulation, the delegation had requested to learn and obtain insights about Malaysia’s position and priorities in the UN, specifically in relation to climate change, cooperation with regional partners and the issue of discrimination based on gender or belief.
The Permanent Mission of Malaysia was delighted to have had the opportunity to share Malaysia’s perspectives as a developing country on international issues and contemporary challenges with a group of youth who will contribute to fostering dialogue and deepening understanding for sustainable global peace and security.
