PERWAKILAN Geneva organised an event “Jom Main Pétanque!” in Parc de Bude, Geneva on 10 October 2021 to commemorate Hari Sukan Negara (HSN) 2021. The event was participated by members of PERWAKILAN Geneva, the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to the United Nations Office and other International Organisations as well as the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to the World Trade Organization in Geneva.
In support of this year’s HSN theme, ‘Towards Sporting Nation’, PERWAKILAN Geneva chose Pétanque as this year’s sport event. Common among Francophone communities, Pétanque is a non-contact outdoor sport and an ideal game to be played among friends and family.
Keluarga Malaysia in Geneva enjoyed playing the game with the spirit of sportsmanship.
