Malaysia participated in the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) 29th Animals and 23rd Plants Committee Meetings held in Geneva from 18 to 27 July 2017. The Malaysian delegation comprised representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Wildlife and National Parks (PERHILITAN), Sarawak Forestry and Malaysian Timber Industry Board.
Mr. Fakhrul Hatta bin Musa, Deputy Director General (Conservation) of PERHILITAN and Mr. Engkamat anak Lading, Wildlife Officer of Sarawak Forestry also paid a courtesy call on Dato’ PR at the Permanent Mission.
