MORNING COFFEE BREAK HOSTED BY MALAYSIA
AT THE SIDELINES OF THE 2025 SESSION OF THE INTERNATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATION UNION (ITU) COUNCIL MEETING

The delegation of Malaysia to the 2025 Session of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Council Meeting from the Ministry of Communication, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and the Permanent Mission of Malaysia in Geneva hosted a Morning Coffee Break at the sidelines of the ITU Council Meeting on Friday, 20 June 2025.
The coffee break was hosted by Malaysia in commemoration of ITU’s 160 years anniversary and provided an avenue for the Malaysian delegation to engage and build networks with ITU’s leadership and other delegates of the Meeting. Additionally, Dato’ Nadzirah Osman, Permanent Representative of Malaysia in her remarks announced Malaysia’s candidature for re-election to the ITU Council for the term 2027 – 2030 and sought the support of Member States in that regard.
A total of 150 delegates of the ITU Council attended the event and sampled a taste of Malaysia through various delicacies such as satay ayam, kuih bingka, popiah, seri muka, buah melaka, karipap and teh tarik.
