WORKING VISIT TO GENEVA BY YB MINISTER OF DIGITAL,
TUAN GOBIND SINGH DEO, 27 – 30 MAY 2024
YB Minister of Digital, Tuan Gobind Singh Deo, undertook a working visit to Geneva, Switzerland on 27 – 30 May 2024. During his visit, YB Minister participated in the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) + 20 High-Level Event, AI Governance Day, called on Ms. Doreen Bogdan-Martin, Secretary-General of ITU and had engagements with digital industry stakeholders.
The working visit provided an opportunity for YB Minister to discuss digital related issues with Ministers from other Member States and representatives from leading digital companies. Additionally, the working visit provided a platform for the Ministry of Digital and its agencies to explore initiatives in enhancing Malaysia’s presence as a digital leader in the Southeast Asia region and internationally.
