Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) will be organising the International Sourcing Program (INSP) MIHAS in conjunction with the 18th Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) 2022. These programmes are a pre-arranged one-to-one Business Meeting slots created to facilitate Malaysian exporters and foreign buyers.
As Malaysia transitions into the endemic phase and with the reopening of Malaysia’s international borders, this year INSP MIHAS will be conducted in a hybrid mode i.e: Physical & Virtual which will begin from 9 May – 31 August 2022 for Virtual INSP and 6 September 2022 for Physical INSP. This allows for bigger numbers of international buyers to participate and meet potential Malaysian producers and suppliers from multiple sectors. For your information, the previous INSP MIHAS edition was able to connect 385 Malaysian companies with 333 international buyers.
This year INSP MIHAS edition will be promoting products and services ranging from:
- Halal Food & Beverages;
- Non-Food Products;
- Pharmaceuticals, Toiletries & Cosmetics;
- Islamic Financial Services;
- Halal Logistics Services;
- Modest Fashion;
- Franchising;
- Food Technology; and
- Islamic Arts
