49th Asean Day Celebration held in Santiago Chile this afternoon(Monday, 8/8/2016). The event saw the attendance of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chile, H....E Heraldo Munoz. More than 200 people attended the said event which saw among others the Asean Flag raising performed by Asean Ambassadors i.e by Dr Rameez of Malaysia and Amb Philemon of Indonesia. A speech was given by Amb Saroj of Thailand as Chairperson of the ASEAN Committee in Santiago(ACS). After which, there was a cake cutting ceremony and a reception hosted for guests attended.
