Breakfast meeting held among ASEAN Heads of Mission in Santiago, Chile this morning from 10.30 till 12 pm (Monday, 30/11/2015) at the Embassy of Malaysia. Ambassadors from Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia, while Charge d Affaires from Thailand and the Philippines attended and deliberated among others the re-activation of the ASEAN community in Santiago as well as to do ASEAN activities in Santiago once a month. It was also decided that the chair rotation in Santiago for ASEAN community will be for a period of 4 months each and Malaysia will be the first chair for the first 4 months commencing 30 November 2015. An ASEAN community in Santiago Facebook will also be created to portray ASEAN community activities in Chile to the public.
