Call on Mr Klaus Becker, Qantas Gerente Comercial America del Sur(Commercial Manager South America) at the Qantas Airways Ltd Headquarters, Av. Apoquindo, Las Condes, Santiago, Chile this morning (Thursday, 28/4/2016). The said meeting was to find out collaboration and cooperation that can be done between the Embassy and Qantas Airways(One World Partner with MAS).
Also to get advice other than reaching the end user, social media, need also to reach out the trade in creating awareness to Chileans and people in Latin America about Malaysia. During the said meeting which was held from 8.50 am till 9.50am(about 1 hour time), we were also told that many in Latin America not aware of what Malaysia can offer i.e on Tourism, unlike Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. Every year more than 2-3 million from Chile and few countries in Latin America visiting Thailand, Laos and Vietnam!
We need to sell more on Malaysia here in Chile and Latin America that we can tap the potential market of over 650 million people!
