On 24 September 2025, Mr. Mohd Idham Ahmat Zamri, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Malaysia in Chile, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Nguyen Viet Cuong, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to the Republic of Chile.
The call reflected the warm and cordial relations between Malaysia and Viet Nam and reaffirmed both missions' commitment to fostering closer ties within the ASEAN community and in the Latin American region.
