Dinner in Honour of His Majesty the Yang Di Pertuan Agong and Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong
During the State Visit to Chile, HE Ambassador Abdullah Faiz Zain and Puan Wan Ehsan Taib hosted a dinner in Honour of their Majesties the Yang Di Pertuan Agong and the Raja Permaisuri Agong at the Residence on 21st April 2009.
About 200 guests were invited including the few Malaysians resident in Chile and others comprising Friends of Malaysia and the MTCP Alumni.
Their Majesties were also entertained to a spectacular Chilean cultural performance from the various region in the country presented by the famous Chilean Folklore Ballet Company (Bafochi). A special performance was also presentation by the Victor Jara School whose principal is a past MTCP participant Marlene Durmont.
The traditional bunga telor was also given to the guests as a parting gift for their presence that evening.
