The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Malaysia in Santiago participated in a meeting and briefing session at Universidad de O’Higgins (UOH), held in conjunction with ASEAN Week.
The session focused on exploring avenues for academic and institutional cooperation between ASEAN member countries and UOH. The Embassy of Malaysia expressed interest in fostering linkages between UOH and Malaysian universities, particularly in fields such as agriculture, where UOH has demonstrated notable strengths.
Opportunities for collaboration in culture and film were also discussed, with a view to promoting mutual exchange and deepening people-to-people connections between Malaysia and Chile.
