Requirements and Measures when entering Chile
Chileans and resident foreigners:
Chileans and resident foreigners may enter the country through any border crossing with their sworn statement in C19.cl and a negative PCR for up to 72 hours before boarding.
If they do not have their Mobility Pass, the obligation to carry out a seven-day quarantine is maintained, both for them and for the people who cohabit in their residence. This means that no one can enter or leave the declared address for isolation during that period.
Foreign:
All foreigners wishing to enter Chile, and have already validated their immunization schedule on the website mevacuno.gob.cl must submit an affidavit of up to 48 hours before boarding on the website C19.cl .
Along with this, they must have a negative PCR up to 72 hours before the trip.
In addition, they must have medical insurance with a minimum coverage of USD $ 30,000.
Upon entering the country, they must be kept in isolation until they have the result of the PCR test carried out after entering Chile.
The steps enabled for the entry of foreigners are the Arturo Merino Benítez Airport, the Iquique airport and the Antofagasta airport.
The obligation of travelers is maintained to use private transport and go directly from entering the country to the declared address to perform quarantine until obtaining the result of the PCR test.
Foreigners without Mobility Pass
Foreigners may also enter the country without a Mobility Pass, as long as they fall within some of the grounds included in Decree 102 of the Ministry of the Interior and Public Security, that is, crews, foreigners in transit, diplomatic personnel, etc. In these cases, the mandatory isolation will be extended for seven days.
