Farewell Dinner for Thai Ambassador
H.E. Ambassador Abdullah Faiz Zain hosted a farewell dinner in honour of Her Excellency Ambassador Vimon Kidchob of Thailand last 8 June 2009. Ambassador Vimon is leaving after serving for more than 3 years in Chile. She is taking up the post of Director-General of Information, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.
Other invited for the dinner included from HE Consuelo Phyat-Reyes (the Philippines), HE Wataru Hayashi (Japan) and spouse, HE Nguyen Van Tich (Vietnam) and spouse, HE Achraf Youssef Zaazaa (Egypt), HE Ibrahim Awawdeh (Jordan), HE Pradeep K. Kapur (India), and the Señor Diego Velasco von Pilgrim and spouse, Director of Asia-Pacific Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The diplomatic community will surely missed her presence particularly those from ASEAN as we have been a closely knit family.
