Meeting with the Chief Officer of the Santiago Office of the ZOFRI(Zona Franca De Iquique or Free Trade Zone of Iquique). There are two(2) free trade zones in Chile i.e Iquique(North of Chile) and Punta Arenas (South of Chile). ZOFRI was established in 1975 and currently having more than 2200 companies inside the Zone, with a sales volume of USD4 billion in 2015. It is located like 1850km away from Santiago(2 hours via flight from Santiago to Iquique).
