What can be done on Thursday 24 and Friday 25 December?
You can celebrate Christmas with the following rules according to the phase of your commune:
CAPACITIES
- Phase 1: only with your family members, without being able to move.
- Phase 2: you can only move within your region to a private residence to celebrate with a maximum of 15 people, including those who live there. No special permission is required to do so. For any other procedure, a permit must be obtained at comisariavirtual.cl.
- Phase 3: you can travel to another region, if your destination commune is also in phase 3 or 4, to celebrate with a maximum of 20 people, including those who live there.
- Phase 4: you can travel to another region, if your destination commune is in phase 3 or 4, to celebrate with a maximum of 30 people, including those who live there.
TOUCH OF QUEDA: What time do I have to be at home?
- Phase 1: the curfew will be between 22:00 and 05:00 hours.
- Phases 2, 3, 4 and 5: you will have to return home before 02:00 hours on Friday 25, since the curfew begins. It lasts until 05:00 hours.
Important: Massive events (holding or participating in parties and any social and recreational event or activity) are prohibited from 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 24 to 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 26.
SPECIAL PERMISSION FOR OLDER ADULT
Older adults may be visited by two people on the 24th or Friday the 25th:
-Phase 1: with permission in the Virtual Police Station with the RUT of the older adult they visit. The same if whoever is in Quarantine is whoever visits.
-Phase 2: permission is only necessary for December 25. The same conditions previously indicated.
-Phase 3, 4, and 5: permission is not required.
* These same conditions are extended to Long Stay Establishments for the Elderly (ELEAM), always complying with the established visit protocols.

You can celebrate the New Years holidays with the following rules according to the phase of your commune:
CAPACITIES

TRAVEL RESTRICTION:
* In the macrozones of the Metropolitan Region, Gran Concepción, Temuco and Padre Las Casas, Gran Valparaíso, and the Valparaíso region, interregional trips will not apply from Wednesday, December 30 at 6:00 p.m., until 5:00 a.m. Saturday January 2, establishing sanitary cords. This means that only those who have a pass for medical treatment, a family funeral, or a single collective permit for essential activity can enter or leave these areas during these hours.
