Presentation of the Joint international Agenda of Cultural Policy held today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chile (Wednesday, 27/4/2016).
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Heraldo Muñoz Valenzuela and Minister President of the National Council of Culture and the Arts presented today an exposition of the Chilean International Cultural Policy Agenda, which focuses in developing Chile’s nation brand as a country that exports not only commodities, but also creative goods and services, through cultural instruments such as cinema, music, plastic arts and others.
At the presentation, both Ministers highlighted cultural and scientific contributions made by Chilean nationals to the world, i.e. Gabriel Osorio, director of “Bear Story”, 2016 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film, and Alejandro Aravena, 2016 Pritzker Architecture Prize, and Maritza Soto, astronomer whom discovered planet HD 110014c.
