On 11th March 2020, Charge d' Affaires signed the book of condolence at Embassy of Peru over the demise of H.E. Javier Perez Cuellar de la Guerra in the city of Lima-Peru, on Wednesday 4 March 2020. He was Secretary General of the United Nations, between 1982 and 1991 and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Peru, between 25 November 2000 and 28 July 2001.
