On this note, Malaysian living in or travelling to Hong Kong are advised to take the necessary precautions:
a. Find a safe place to stay and please stay indoor through the T8 (or higher) Tropical Cyclone Signal;
b. Stock up on food and other supplies;
c. Stay away from the shoreline;
d. Contact the airline for advice on new flight schedule;
e. Please monitor the advisories from the respective observatories (https://www.hko.gov.hk/en/index.html | https://www.smg.gov.mo/en); and
f. In the event of an injury requiring immediate medical attention, please call 999 and inform the Consulate via email mwhongkong@kln.gov.my or Whatssap +852 6900 6390.
