On 7 August 2025, Consul General Muzambli Markam along with all ASEAN Consuls General graced the Opening Ceremony of ASEAN Film Festival 2025 at Hong Kong Palace Museum with Deputy Director Liu Guangyuan (Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR)), Deputy Commissioner Pan Yundong (Deputy Commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the HKSAR) and Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Miss Rosanna Law in attendance as Guests of Honour.
In conjunction with the 58th ASEAN Day too, a cake-cutting ceremony was held while embracing the vision of “Towards Inclusive & Sustainable ASEAN Future”.
