Friday, 8 July 2022 - The Consulate-General of Malaysia joined the other ASEAN Consulates-General in collaborating with the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC) Hong Kong on the “ASEAN x GBA" Seminar and Luncheon at the premises of the CGCC in Central. The event, attended by the ASEAN Diplomatic Missions, Chambers of Commerce of ASEAN countries including the Malaysian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong & Macau (MAYCHAM) and CGCC members had the participants learn more about the Greater Bay Area's current developments and opportunities. Welcome remarks were delivered by Chairman of the CGCC External Affairs Committee, Mr Derrick Yip; Opening remarks by Consul-General of Malaysia and doyen of the ASEAN Consular Corps, Yap Wei Sin; and a presentation and Q&A by CGCC Permanent Honorary President Dr. Johnathan Choi.
