Wednesday, 31 August 2022 - The Trade Section of the Consulate-General of Malaysia in Hong Kong (MATRADE) participated in the Belt and Road Summit at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The objectives of the presence are to promote Malaysia as a business partner as well as to support various Belt and Road initiatives that will be done continuously in the near future.
The event was officiated by The Hon. John Lee, Chief Executive of Hong Kong with the presence of other high-level officials. Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia, YB Senator Datuk Lim Ban Hong also participated by delivering his online remarks during the panel discussion entitled "Driving Growth through Partnership and Collaboration".
