During the meeting, the Chief Secretary and CG noted the close Malaysia-Hong Kong relations, and touched on the myriad opportunities to further strengthen these ties. CG Yap expressed his appreciation to the Chief Secretary for the support and cooperation from the Hong Kong SAR Government during his three and a half years in Hong Kong. The Chief Secretary thanked the CG for his work promoting Malaysia-Hong Kong ties and wished him the best in his future undertakings.
